Russian and Petersburg cuisine in the author's reading
An intelligent St. Petersburg restaurant with an original combination of Russian cuisine and fashionable "northern" gastronomic traditions.
Located on Stolyarny Lane - the "place of power" of the creative elite of the Silver Age - the restaurant embodied the unique atmosphere of a Petersburg apartment, reflecting the era of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Our interior
The interior and atmosphere of Severyanin remind of the coziness of old Petersburg apartments.
Antique furniture, books, a portrait of the poet Igor Severyanin and black and white photos in frames, plants in tubs, quiet music, a samovar, candles on tables, graceful lamps in semicircular windows, snow-white tablecloths, thin glasses: you seem to have come to visit good friends - to the poets of the Silver Age.
The interior in the main hall turned out to be very cozy and, in the best sense, "nostalgic" - porcelain figurines, lace tablecloth, old engravings and piano notes seem to have come from photographs of chronicles of bohemian evenings of the 20th century.
The seating capacity in the main hall "Living room" is small - 45 seats - this is what provides guests with a feeling of coziness, intimacy and comfort.
The total capacity of the small Veranda hall is 16 people.
The Severyanin restaurant is an annual participant of the Petersburg Cuisine project.
Petersburg cuisine is a unique gastronomic phenomenon that has arisen as a result of the fusion of two gastronomic cultures: traditional Russian cuisine and elegant French cuisine with some additions of other national culinary recipes.
The project "Petersburg Cuisine", which was launched in 2014, is aimed at reviving the culinary traditions of St. Petersburg and promoting our city not only as a cultural, but also a gastronomic capital of Russia.
